apart from that survival is a bit harsher there and some players might find the map boring because it has no real highlights to offer.
it has been marketed and sold as a forest map with hunting, in reality the largest part of the map is just plain boring fields.
right in the middle is a river with some villages around it, and that is it.
you want a good experience? try vanilla namalsk.
where? on livonia? havent noticed that.
If you have imagination, it is quite good fun. You need real skill
for PvP as there is nowhere near the cover you get on the default map.
I reckon half the players that said "boring" really meant too hard and i
need my hand held....
More wolves, more bears, harsher weather, flat open terrain...
AND the zees swarm, especially at night.
I did get it on sale, and feel justified now as I play it everyday. There is a lot of military places and bigger cities south So I am not to sure what others are talking about there. Hunting is good as there seems to be more animals then Cherno map. The server has very low loot so if your not hunting your dying. All and all it is decent but overpriced.
Wintermaps are also not everyones taste.. (i dislike them cuz bright snow everywhere - nothing for long sessions with my old eyes)
otherwise I think it's the most realistic map, basically just one extended hunting ground.
That is fair too.
I get why many disagree with me but I still love Chernarus as there is just something I love about spawning on a coast with nothing. It just 'feels' better to me if that makes sense...
in Livonia you kinda always feel exposed
Lol...but nah not really. Its the feel of the map I prefer, Livonia feels like half a map to me as the bottom half is pointless. I prefer Deer Isle for an alternative to Chernarus but I will always prefer Chernarus
