why is this game so expensive ??
why is this game so expensive and not much to do in it for the price compare to Scum half the price more things to do and its even getting better then Dayz whats falling behind in all those years in development :D any explanation why i should pay 34£ for it ? :D

It was in development for ~6 years so its fair they recoup they're investment in Research and Devlopment and also time cost analysis. Remember they had to redo their engine halfway through development because of issues with the old engine and dean hall just climbing mountains somewhere.


Also you can tie up people and play russian noises at people through a megaphone.
:) pretty decent for R624,34 or Retail Store for online games.

i forgot SCUM was a thing. ill have to check out its forums and see how they're doing.

if DAYZs price is too high wait for a sale. theyre not infrequent.

some folk will find it too expensive others not.

At this point I'm thinking less than $0.03/minute over the 5+ years I've had it was a good deal. During that time I've played several other games but have once again returned to DayZ. Goodtimes!......except for the vehicles lol
