and im told i have to add any modes to the start bat but i see not a 1 ?
So to install mods on nitrade server, the best way is to first have a file-transfering program, like "Filezilla". Doing it "by hand" takes more time, but I also did that in the beginning.
Remember that you have to log onto your server to find the login-parameters for your file-transfer program. (host - username - password - port)
But to add a mod, it is really simple.
1. Subscribe on a mod.
2. (i always use the STEAM DAYZ LAUNCHER to see that the mod has acually been
downloaded) - You can also check \Steam\steamapps\common\DayZ\!Workshop\ to check so
the mod is really there. Restarting STEAM, and starting DAYZ LAUNCHER will give you proof
of that the mod is downloaded, and/or you have the latest version.
3. Now copy the mod-folder, lets say @CF - this mod is a mod that is used by many other mods.
Like ZomBerry Admin tool (that I use) - So drag or rightclick on @CF, and copy the whole
folder to your SERVER ROOT. The server root is /dayzstandalone/ - Other folders in the root
will be: "addons" "config" "Keys" "Mpmissions" to name a few.
More or less all mods have a "key", just copy the key-file, to your "Keys" folder.
4. When you are done the @CF will be at the top of your server, mostly because the "@" will sort
the folder first before the folders with only names. So I guess you have @CF at the top, and if
that is your only mod folder for now, you should have the folder "_CommonRedist" directly
under it.
5. Now log onto you server, from nitrado-web-login-page.
6. Click on your "Web Interface Login" icon.
7. Click on "General" tab.
8. Here you can name your server (what it will be called in public when people search for it)
And if you scroll down, you will find a line where you can fill in the mods you want the server to
"call". The line is named "Additional mods".
8. Fill in at the start at the line (NO SPACES BETWEEN MODS) My own example, for one of
my server is:
@CF;@Code Lock;@BuildAnywhere_v3;@Vehicle3PP;@CarHorn;@ZomBerryAdminTools
Please be careful, when you type in mods here. Some mods have spaces between thier words as you can see on @Code Lock, but not at @ZomBerryAdminTools. You must spell it, like they appear in your server root.
And as in my example, you must use "semi-colon" to seperate the mods. ; If you use the normal colon : I don't know what will happen, maybe they just don't work?
9. Most important step now "SAVE CHANGES" - The little green icon down to your right on the
server window. If you dont save your changes, well then nothing will stay on the server, so it
is important to save after changing anything. Most pages on Nitrade have a "save" function,
otherwise you maybe use the "File Browser", but there is no save-function, everything you
do in the "file Browser" will be as if you use windows, and change something in folders on
your computer.
10. To have all the new stuff implemented on your server, you MUST RESTART THE SERVER!
Restarting the server will make all new things that you add or remove, to be active.
So if you add more mods, you have to restart so they will be in effect.
11. For example - Use the STEAM DAYZ LAUNCHER, to login to your server. I use this
because here you can add the mods to your start profile, because it have to MATCH the
server mods, otherwise you can't login.
Lets say you have "@CF;@ZomBerryAdminTools" installed on your server. Then you have
to ACTIVATE theese mods in the launcher too. No more, no less, otherwise you will be
kicked, because the server mods and the mods you have on your startup, does not match.
The launcher have TABS you can click on, to fill in your Name - Activate or deactivate mods (you can have 100 mods in the list but maybe only activate @CF;@ZomBerryAdminTools)
In these tabs you can also fill in IP and PORT to your server, so the launcher will connect you directly to your server, without going to the server-list first and pick a server.
Remember to "un-mark" the IP-ADDRESS and PORT if you want to log into some other server.
Remember also this: On Nitrado servers the "CONFIG" folder in the root of your server is your PROFILE FOLDER. So sometimes when a mod need you to change or add something to your profile-folder, (like the Admin tool), it is in your "CONFIG folder you change that.
In config folder you have all the logs of the server, when players kill eachother or places tents. You can follow that in the config folder.
So important CONFIG = PROFILE
That should be all......
Hope I could help you?
:)
Edit: You can also login to Nitrado forum, to get some help from people who have Nitrado servers. Dayz can be on PC, Xbox and Playstation, but more or less the files are the same, when you add mods.
And one more big help is YouTube. Search for "Dayz Nitrado" on youtube, and you will find TONS of videos from people who are sponsered by Nitrado, to help others.
Here they show step-by-step how to add more zombies, or how increse helli-crashes, and much much more!

@ZomBerryAdminTools - UPDATED
This means that YOU and everyone else that SUBSCRIBE on that mod, will have the latest version of the mod (since you subscribe on it)
BUT YOUR SERVER WILL NOT HAVE THE LATEST VERSION. So when you see a mod have been updated, then you have to update your server with the new info. Just drag or copy over the old one, and overwrite.
Sometimes you need to udate the key-file too.
If you don't update the mod on your server, you and no one else can join the server, because the mods you have, does not match the server.
:)
So this is the hell for a server owner, to watch out for updates. Specially if you have many servers, and many mods on them. You might have to update every week, diffrent mods that the modders update or add something....
