You can blame every youtuber for that tbh.
It's Dayz and KOS is part of Dayz and everything else is just "part of Dayz".
No matter what, we can not change how people see Dayz and what they think what Dayz is for real. There is just one thing "we" can do (people like me who love to talk and meet other people and not just shoot constantly) is to play how we love to play this game. I just came back after some time and in literally my 5th minute online I got killed with shotty lol
If you think about it for long time, you gonna start hating this game and that's wrong way to go, at least that's the way I was going. At the end I did not start just KOS everytime I see people just because 5/10 time someone will kill me. I kept being friendly guy looking for new adventure every time I press play! For me, meeting random people and going on adventure is what Dayz is all about and will stay forever.
every youtuber and streamer that thinks content is kills and guns pretty much.
Very true, eveyone wants to try to be the next frankie
the so called "content creators" call it "killing bandits" ..however stupid that might be, considering how they cry "STREAM SNIPER" as soon as they get the feel of the same...
It's funny how the line between killing bandits and killing bambis can be so thin "He has a gun, he's a bandit!" *pewpewpew*. Being a hero is just as lame of an excuse....no bandits, heroes nor cops and robbers in this game, only survivors.
I'm currently checking earth crisis out rn infected are actually quite a threat. Just needs a bit more pop
Good white-list servers come and go with every hotfix and update of the main game due to the nature of mods and their sometimes unreliable authors.
There's probably an entire chronological history of dayzrp servers which achieved the same or similar goals with tweaks to their ultimate visions such as less cars, more planes, more currency or less loot.
You know you're in a good server when the staff/owner/host + admins have an active hand in the community, mostly for the sake of smoothing out conflicts with bugs or approving faction warfare.
