Cool thanks. Well it turns out trying to find any available with Gsync at the size and resolution I want is next to impossible in my region at present anyway. So guess I will not be upgrading until supplies get back to normality :/

Only minor problem: if you livestream your gameplay in steam, you can only use max 1920x1080 16:9 as streaming-resolution. (but you still have 3440x1440 at your screen)
Was thinking of a RTX 3080 when they are actually available but decided I will hold on to my current card and perhaps get an ultrawide instead. Though looks like a wait either way :/

I don't know what resolution you would be running at but I have an RTX 4090 and DayZ still drops well below 100FPS at max settings with the Foliage Smoothing setting absolutely killing FPS
I am guessing your monitor would have a resolution of something like 5120x1440 and I would say you can run it but you will have to play with settings.
DayZ isn't particularly well optimised and has no upscaling options like FSR or DLSS either
