Which Scopes/Which Rifle????????????

Is there any tutorial or assistance of any kind on which scopes will fit to which rifle? I cannot say how much money and time I have wasted on buying the wrong scope for a rifle that I am unfamiliar with. I play friendly so do not think helping me is helping me kill other players.

have they added scope options for the kas-74u ? no ka scopes or optics seem to work.and thanks for the list rose

I think this AK74U is what would be called the Crewman 74U which have no attachments because Tank, APC and Logi Crews use them. It's considered a SMG. The buttstocks for AKs are compatible for it tho.
Their may be a mod for optics on it tho I'm not 100% sure.
IRL you would have to buy a custom mount for the 74U

oh well i was hoping that the AK74U would take the kobra optics, but your right theres no side mounts for attachment like ak/ka based guns.

It was not designed to have a scope in real life. Its a short range, close quarters weapon not meant for any extreme distance nor accuracy, even in real life.

Also, if you have the weapon in your hands when using the trading menu its compatible attachments and magazines/ammo should be highlighted in blue lettering. This does not work 100% of the time but it's worth a try.

You have some special made ones with the siderails, but they are somewhat rare. Accuracy, or the lack thereof is not an argument for not having a reflex optic on a weapon that has iron sights ranging from 100 to 1000 meters, a very optimistic value, one would find, but the russians have a habit of overestimating the capability of their rifling and the vision of their soldiers. The Mosin used to be ranged up to aprx. 2000m
