Modded servers for beginners?

Hey all, 2 friends of mine wanted to give DayZ a second chance and i wanted to know if there is any good PvP or PvPvE server to make them learn the game in a more chill annd relaxed way.
PvP servers with 30 players pop average will do aswell or decently populated PvE servers with PvP Zones.
Any advice?

If you want to make them learn the game, play vanilla. There are plenty valid choices even in community servers.

This. Choose a low pop no persistence server (no hoarders so more loot) and play until they know the basics. Then move to a persistence server to make a base if they want to try it, and then they'll know how to play.
Using a modded server is a bad idea, if you choose one of those ez servers with food and gear everywhere and shops.

CertifiedZ Community is less then 20 day's old and is a fast building community, majority of player's are new to DayZ and love to learn, at CertifiedZ we are willing to help anybody get through DayZ and even learn. You're not addressing the OP's question, you're spamming your dumbed down server.

Couldn't agree more with everyone saying this.

Nothing wrong with modded if you find that is what you want later on but vanilla is by far the best way to learn to survive in DayZ.

@Odin, I sent you a friend request just now. I play on a server for beginners, and also advanced players.
It have a few mods, that makes your base be safe from raids. And you can chill and learn the game in a slow pase.... The players that use to play here, are mostly friendly, and enjoy mostly PVE. But sometimes people get killed too, so always check your back! :)

But it is a low pop server - specially now during summer holiday - when people are doing crap like bbq, drinking beer, swimming, sunbathing and enjoy time with thier dead beat familys....
