Livonia: is it just me or....
Is this map very empty other than a very high number of wolves and infected?

Map looks nice though...

I thought that was the point; it's an open, barren, harsh environment that is challenging to survive. Chernarus to me now looks too full now.

Well I realise that is the premise of the entire game but I didn't see anything that indicated extra wolves and more empty space.

Still like the map but it feels like I am just being hammered with wolves and I am still trying to stick to roads rather than the woods where wolves are probably more likely

I just switched back to Chernarus and am torn over which to play now. They are both different but fine maps!

Livonia has less hotspots and the military loot is more distributed in general.

this makes (nearly) every part of the map to a potential pvp zone, though.

Yeah it does feel like there is more military stuff but smaller sites all over the place. But there is a lot of nothing in between and those wolves... damn

I like Livonia, it looks really good and it does have a different feel but I think I still prefer Chernarus
The problem i have with Livonia is it is a smaller map size and also take into account there is a massive section from east to west at the bottom of the map that is just complete forest and no point going there below Polana/Swarog, so Livonia is even smaller than what appears. It should have had a few small towns/villages below this and should have been treated as spawn locations then maybe the airfield would have been worth going to as well instead of there just being lower tier military loot there

Yeah I am finding that now, spend the last 2 hours running and found virtually nothing other than an abandoned base and a small military camp, or a couple of houses here and there. There are no towns, so I have pretty much nothing to reference to figure out where I am on the map.

I find my best loot in Livonia not in the military locations themselves but in the ruined villages near them.

the map is basically divided in three parts:
north is mainly for stocking up on basic gear, middle is where most military locations are and south is good for hunting.

Yeah I am finding that actually, I am stuck south where besides bears and wolves there isn't much. Already done my hunting for the next while so literally no reason for me to be there, guess I will head north again and see if that is better

sometimes you can find also some hidden camps in the south...

Yeah man just dont go below Polana/Swarog and is it Gieraltow? which are the most southern locations, the unfortunate part of this is if you take that into account the map is only about 10sq km, which is why i have hardly played it since release. I believe when Deer isle is complete it will be a better, bigger map than Livonia. Quite the letdown to say the least.

Yeah thanks I think I have discovered that the hard way. The map looks really good with some really lush looking areas but it does feel very empty and pretty pointless going south on it.

Haven't tried Deer Isle yet but I definitely will as it looks like a good map with plenty of locations to keep you busy exploring

Deer Isle is cool...lots of secrets and hidden tunnels there.

Yeah it does look pretty cool, just haven't got to it yet as Chernarus has kept me very busy
