Connecting from different Pc's to Dayz Server in Same Local Area Network (LAN) [NAT Problem]
We are having a very difficult time trying to solve this issue, we are unable to play simultaneously on the same server from different PC's (different steam accounts also). i have tried just about every suggestion online

including;

How to get in DayZ servers with two PC's in the same Network

Two computers, different IP's, same house, cannot connect to same server
https://forums.dayz.com/topic/36739-two-computers-different-ips-same-house-cannot-connect-to-same-server/?page=3

the problem seem to be that the server reject multiple connections from the same external IP. I know this because i installed a VPN connection on 2 of the 3 pc's and i was able to get all 3 in at the same time.

however that may be a work around, i rather NOT use VPN.

anyone have other suggestions?

----------------------- EDIT -----------------------
putting the server on VPN does not fix the issue. sofar only using VPN on the client pc works

My son connects to my server from his room, I can connect to my server from my laptop or my server also running the client.. First does your router not allow connections from the wifi network and you are using that?

I had to check a box on the router for "allow connections from wifi to the other network" sort of thing but if you are all wired this should not be an issue. Just had it recently with my new laptop so I thought I would mention it. I guess you tried restarting the router and all concerned machines after the final configs?

i added a machine to wifi and even after restarting router it didnt work, with and without -port= launch parameters. at this point its just a matter of pride to have this fixed LOL

For the client, define port.

The defaukt is 2304, if i recall correctly, so if you have 2 people connecting from the same network, you need to have the clients using different ports

i have tried on the launch parameters in DAYZ properties on steam & DZSALauncher aslo, but still either way is still a no go unfortunatelly

besides what i posted on original post i have also opened steam as admin, right clicked dayz properties>set launch options> -port=2308 for pc 1 and -port=2312 for the others and then launched the game and loaded the mods and still not getting in game, additionally i have also added the -port= to the DZSALauncher parameters

Why are you connecting to a LAN server through an external IP ?
You're creating more problems not using the subnet IP range where all IP connections to the server will be from individual addresses instead of going through the router, to whatever hop just to come back in through the router and get the problem of all connections from the same IP.
find your subnet IP and use that on the machines to connect.
Here, have half the IP, 192.168.x.x

i think you are misunderstanding the problem. I am NOT going through an external IP. the Modded SERVER LAN IP is 192.168.X.102, pc1= 192.168.X.109, pc2= 192.168.X.125, pc3= 192.168.X.130, PC 1, 2, 3 do not connect to server at the same time only 1 at a time either by loading it directly via steam nor through DZSALauncher, hence why this is posted.

Then what network addresses are you translating if all the connecting devices are on the subnet 🤔🤨

the server SERVER LAN IP is 192.168.X.102 but its configured with the external IP so that my other buddies can also join it via DZSALauncher & because DZSALauncher also needs the external ip so that you can added to the list of servers on there

Then you "local folk" need to connect using the "local" IP address ... Job sorted!!

we have tried that :/

if you cannot connect using the 192.x.x.x address for the server (you really want this static) you have a firewall or setting wrong. I know host Lan Parties!
However that being said if your router cannot handle mutli port routing, maybe you need a proper router!??? time for a Draytek!??
Good Luck!
