Filling up bottles with rain water

anyone know if the dev is planning on reimplementing this?

Last time they did, it took about 5 minutes to get about 45%... roughly... Soooooo. no. I hope not. The wetness/hydration ratio is terrible.

I know that's why it was like that. I'm saying that from a *gameplay* perspective, it's not worth it. imo, anyway. I'm not stupid. -.- There has to be a point where gameplay comes into mechanics. Even for DayZ.

Yeah but what about catching the rain that's dripping off of a surface like a house roof

That would be a totally different script then....or you could use a tarp to funnel water into the bottle. All possible but the topic is about being able to fill a water bottle with rain drops and how long it should take.

I think they removed the bottle method as it was just to easy. Hope they fix the barrel in some form for the deep forest people though!

The mod for tge SA makes water sources useless since you can fill up a bottle just as fast in any type of rain as if you were at a water pump....it actually even felt faster.
