u can cook food without water if u just put fat in a cooking pot with the meat together..
A lot of this stuff seems like basic and obvious but going in blind is quite the learning curve.
There aren't too many games out there that let you do stuff that actually makes sense like this game.
i'd say if you manage to find charcoal tablets you could be able to gather from a pond or some other unpurified water and purify them
but yeah you can also use a pot like the other guy stated too
it's funny how much longer you'll live once you start remembering where pumps and orchards are
