Server resets?

How often do servers reset? I took quite a long break from the game, but what I used to do was get a vehicle and hide it somewhere and whenever I'd hop on, I'd have a vehicle to go driving around in. Well on saturday after a long hiatus I started playing again, found a vehicle, scrounged up some parts and then went and parked it in BFE, I logged on today and the vehicle is gone, it's next to impossible that someone just happened upon it, also i removed a tire the battery and spark plug, so even less likely that someone found it and then hunted parts and hiked all the way back. I know i'm on the same server since I write down the IPs and I only have a couple favorites anyhow, so my question is, how often do servers reset?

and on an unrelated note, is overheating like perma glitched or something? my guy is always burning up even as i sit in my undies in the water under a tree..

idk what you mean by broke, vehicles work just fine, get 4 tires a battery and a spark plug and go to town on them, they're difficult to drive, but just dont get too ambitious with the gears and your solid... do you mean they just randomly disappear? because mine is gone, but i just went into the closest city and its chock full of loot, so maybe the server did reset?

Server normally reset every 12 hours however if you play on private server Bohemia has instituted a new rule that limits the number of restarts performed per day to 5.

so does that mean if you've affected any change, that change is gone? servers used to restart every 2-24 hours or w/e, but say for instance I had a car, it would be where I left it. i'm assuming by reset, you mean it actually resets all the loot and vehicles and everything?

Cars are not really persistant in .60, fix them up, drive them, they will be gone tomorrow.

Restarts have no effect on loot spawns.

Eight hour lifespan at the moment so yeah. Technically persistent, but for barely any time.
