Are Official Servers all night time at same time?

I can only play games in the evenings and I am in the UK. So far each time I want to play each and every server is night time or turns to night not long after I join. Is this coincidence or is this a thing now? I dont really want to play on a server on the other side of the world just to see daylight.

I don't mind playng at night so long as it doesnt last my entire play session. If i wanted to run around in the dark I would go outside...

I know theres lots of community servers etc but I was wondering about the Official ones

Yeah the official servers are staggered time wise by about 10 mins so they are all dark at about the same time unfortunatley

If I recall correctly, the official servers should be synced to local time of whatever time zone they are located in. At least they used to be back when I played on them.
My server is temporarily on permanent daytime due to a glitch with getting it synced to local time. :j

Have the devs explained the logic behind this idea? Unless you are fortunate/unfortuante to not have to work during the day, it would mean to play on a server with low ping and in the evenings, means your condemned to play in the dark.

I dont get the logic behind this idea at all.... huge put off to be honest

Yeah, i looked at community ones but alot dont seem very full. I'll have a look tonight again. Shame the official ones are so badly implemented
