Dayz keeps crashing

So my Copy of Dayz keeps crashing when I try to get onto a server. even though it worked fine up to yesterday. any idea on how to fix this?

There was a workaround for this a few patches back that might work - try deleting the DayZ folder in the Windows "My Documents" folder. That deletes any config files that might be causing trouble. You'll have to do your display settings again, but if it lets you start the game it is worth it.

It didn't help. at all.

Have you tried verifying your DayZ files? And tick to delete any files it nags you about.

I have the same problem. I tried to verify and reinstall but it didn't workout. Any solution?

I was running completely fine, for the past couple of days, but all of a sudden. I seem to be crashing every hour or so, and I cant seem to figure why, No error message nothing

I had already unistalled the game before the .63 update and cleared any DayZ related documents off my computer. I reinstalled it for the update and got some crashes as well. Right to desktop, no message also.

I turned off Steam Overlay and haven't seen any crashes in the 4 or so times I've played since then. Can't say it's a sure fix but worth testing out. Definitely try unistalling and then reinstall and verify files as well.

I have this issue and it has got me killed a few times running away from Zs. It' sonly Dayz that does it. My friend doesn't have th eproblem at all. I assumed it was because of a mod but that's a guess.
