anisotropic filtering not working properly?
does anyone have this problem? at the highest setting, it looks like maybe x2, but still its blurry as hell after few steps away from character. i know i can force it in gpu driver settings, then it looks ok, but wondering why ingame settings are not working? i guess its amd drivers, they are messed up lately.

problem doesnt exist on NVidia GTX 1060 6GB, so i guess this is an AMD problem?

Same here. Got a Nvd. 1080. Vsync also appears to have no visual impact.

finally somebody who noticed it too..

its a general bug and i reported it 1000 times, nothing happened.. it appeared in ealry 0.63 builds, now back in the beta build stronger than ever before...

i have this "bug" on my gtx 1060 and on rtx 2080 now...

some folks cant even notice this issue.. but if you play in 4k and are a graphic entuhisast, it will kill your experiance...

youre playing the wrong game if you are a graphic enthusiasts lol ESPECIALLY at 4k which is the biggest meme ive seen. do you play in 21:9 as well

yea i noticed some people have the issue, some dont, regardless of gpu being amd or nvidia. idk, maybe driver versions or something. but definitely it got worse with last few updates. i hope they fix this so we dont have to force it through driver settings.

while i get what you are saying, there is still something wrong with that graphic setting. low and medium looks the same, absolutely terrible looking. just on high setting you get something that looks like x2 anisotropic filtering. something is obviously wrong, regardless if you care about graphics or not...

Is it only the anisotropic filter for you guys? Because in my case it's the Vsync. Anisotropic filter has probably passed beneath my radar becuase I haven't noticed it that much.

i am not sure as i always played with vsync off, i get no texture tearing. but yea, someone above mentioned vsync, so its probably that too.

Check your "nvidia" software is not overwriting your in game stuff, i know AMD had it with the "Experience/profile/raptor" stuff where it would "change" settings to its recommended which are pants btw all the time and manually setting did not help!

Only fix i saw was to disable profiling of game and delete the dayz cfg file in documents\dayz and then manually reconfigure. might be worth a look?

its the other way around for me, with amd. game setting is where its bugged for me, it only works if i force driver software to overwrite the game setting.

Let it be guys. C'mon... it's not worth it.

so, few driver versions ago this issue got fixed for me, but now with new ones 19.1.1, this is happening again. i guess the only option is to force it through driver settings.
