Everything is up, and gathering of other stuff can begin soon - except I can't seem to build the final roof. Is it really just a sweet spot you have to find or do you need anything other than planks and nails for it? Do you NEED metal sheets for the 3F roof?

As a side note, I couldn't find the answer with google, so I thought I'd ask.

If I remember right it's a sweet spot looking at the stairs you climb like with other levels to it.
I don't recall requiring the metal sheets but it could be needed.

I don't know if it matters but, I haven't used hammers, and I'm still using hatchets to build. Might the sweet spot being hard to find, might be that you NEED a hammer for the 3F roof or you might need metal sheets. I haven't a clue, and I don't exactly have metal sheets at hand or nearby.

And now I've run out of nails while building the rest of it, so I can't tets anything either XD

i can check this out a bit more as i've nearly finished my 2nd tower just a few more logs and i can add the final level.

Edit: checked this out and the materials are:
Metal sheets x 6
Planks x 5
Nails x 20

Well, given that my base was built on a public server rather than a community or private, people could just ghost into the base, and since I was a little bit away from a regular metal sheet spawn, I think it's alright that I didn't get to build that roof.

Still, this does clear things up for when I do decide on a dedicated base on a private shard/server. Thanks for the assistance.
