How to unjam a gun?

I've noticed that every pistoi i've been finding get jammed after either 1-2 shots or 4-5 shots and i dont know how to fix it, do i need a gun cleaner?

Nope, same issue, everyone says hold R which is obvious, it just doesnt work at all, every other gun is fine but this one wont unjam no matter what, ive thrown it, dropped it, tried to click and hold r e.t.c. its a bug

this might still be an issue with modded guns, but not on official severs afaik.

I have noticed that occasionally there can be a desync situation where the server thinks the gun is empty and the client thinks the gun is jammed. At least that's what I assume is happening because in these circumstances the gun can't be unjammed without a relog. I saw it happen to a streamer the other night. It seems to be more likely on high ping from what I've seen.

hold R for a hot minute and theres an animation process it goes through to fix the jam. It's not like single loading rounds its a few seconds longer
