Fog is annoying..

i just entered a server and the fog has been killing me... its not that thick but its really annoying, is there an option to remove it or does it ever end? im on a community public server..
also it might be in dayz generally not only in server... even in lobby

Usually always foggy around the coast, head inland it should clear up.

Sounds like maybe this is the visual range fog, which is limited. I don't know if this can be changed in DayZ standalone.

Maybe someone else knows.

even in the forest not only in coast, very annoying... inland aswell doesnt matter

Time of day ... morning is Foggy usually!
Try another server set at another time see if problem persists.
Also some screen shots may help ?

I had heavy fog the other day, alls i could see was a 100ish meter bubble around me then a wall of white. Made navigating a nightmare lol

and my friend doesnt have this fog at all, while i have alot..

no dude im not near the coast, i died multiple times and had full health always, meanwhile my friend doesnt have the fog only i do
