Do you play on HDD or SSD? PC specs?
Specs:
WIN10;
CPU AMD A12-9720P RADEON R7
12 GB RAM
GPU R7 M340
And yes, I want to die, before you ask.
There was a post previously where guy had similar issues and SSD replacement helped.
Something is wrong with your hardware. Check other games if you have same spikes.
Also your GPU looks weak. Try to change settings to low and check again.
I used to played on 8gb ram laptop - everything was smooth
the bottom line is DayZ plays pretty good on decent PCs with no issues. Look for hardware weakness - HDD, GPU, etc
I pinpointed the issue to RAM, since it's at more than 90% and sometimes 95% when I play DayZ. GPU feels fine. Getting from 30 to 50+ on average. Other games don't do that.
I5-9300H
GTX 1650 4GB
8Go RAM
I don't have so much lag, just sometimes. And I can run the game at "High" graphics level at about 70 FPS, more or less (the game is installed on a SSD).
