Whats with the sunken ship near the island?

Whats with the sunken ship near the island? since the jumping update we can properly explore it, the walking pathing map seems pretty bad and like this boat needs an overhaul what do you guys think what could it be used for?

Its not sunken, its beached. Sunken refers to having sunk or been submerged in water.

they are three Ships two sunken and oen beached , As far for the two sunken i have no idea but they are people saying or at least there is a comic about it ( not really sure if its official or canon related to Dayz origins) But the beached ship found a small group of survivors in a small boat with one guy on it , they helped the man and asked if he was biten , he lied and so people claim to say that the ship beached in rusia and thats where the zombie infection spreaded throu chernarus , but as for usage ? i mean no much you can explore them and hopefully one day we could be able to dive unto water and see whats down or i dunno

Diving should truely be a thing, with scuba gear and all for lower areas and not dying of oxygen deprovation
