You will learn the towns as you go
The iZurvive map is great for finding your location if you find a town sign
Just look up the towns name an it will show you where it is on the map

Sounds like some graphics settings issue, not sure what version, but that's not the "normal" way it shows.

If you zoom in on the sign while looking at it you will be able to read it much easier. It also removes the blur from the letters.

You have to navigate the way we did before GPS in the days of actual paper road maps. Satellite and GPS aren't likely to be available in the event of a zombie outbreak...
