Cheapest new dayz provider?

So great news now i dont have to use the company they tell me. Does anyone know the cheapest company to get a dayz standalone server thats going to set server up fast?

private servers, i have my server locked with password, and the database it's not shared with others

I've been using GTX for my ark servers for years now, they've been really nice to deal with.

i wonder if GTXgaming has private servers with optional password/whitelist or not. Anyone knows? i´m not familiar with the name: "dedicated servers" is this public?

Dedicated just means its a proper server really.
As in the software/hardware is just there to log on to, not actually play on.
Basically all servers we've seen so far have been dedicated.
Whitelist/password is part of the server options so should be available from all suppliers.

This is the answer I received from GTX when I asked them...
"DayZ SA servers are private yes, you can lock them with a password, and the database it's not shared with other servers."
I am giving them a go for at least a month to see how it works out. I know absolutely nothing about server admin on a game server... any suggestions?
Also, anyone know how to turn off the status box in the upper right hand corner on .63? :j

Open your serverDZ.cfg file by browsing your dayz server locals files through steam.
Look for this at the bottome or just copy and paste it in. enableDebugMonitor = 0; //shows info about the character using a debug window in a corner of the screen (value 0-1)

To test the above, I logged into my gtx .63 experimental server for the first time and was presented with a brand new spawn... I then went back to a public .63 experimental server and had my same old toon which I'd logged off as this morning.
So, I would have to say that each one of gtx's dayz sa servers are on a seperate shard. I would also have to say that some of the other server providers charge more than double gtx's pricing for a private shard. :j

I used to be able to find this file with no problem... now?!?!? I even did a global search for "dz.cfg" and one for "dayz.cfg"... nada, zilch, zip... nothing... where the heck did they hide that now? LOL. :j

Please correct me if I am wrong but with the release of the server files you can host your own server.

If you are going to i'd say minium specs should be an i7 with 16gb ram 32 preferred with a max of 30 players. That should run happily.

I would not want to pay for server hosts any more as their prices are way too high.

Yeah. My company regularly change newish server hardware, as a precaution, and sell it to employees for fudge all if we're interested. Gonna try and get my hands on some proper hardware and make good use of it!
