Check the battery, that thing eats batteries big time.

First check if it has a 9V battery then hold it in your hand and hold left click like with binoculars (just to confirm the damn thing actually works)
THEN you're gonna need one of those fancy tactical helmets which the NVGs can be mounted on, the straps meant for the NVGs doesn't seem to work in 1.03 or at least it doesn't respond when you attach the NVGs to the headstrap and hold L, but the tactical helmet works like a charm.

you need to activate the strap in your arm and then put it back on

NVG + Headstrap does not work when you wear a helmet or something similar.

I doesnt work with our without helmet or mask... I can use the NVG when pressing the click button but when I mount it in the headstrap it doesn't work, pressing L with whatever you have or not on your head it will not activate the NVG, then it's probably a bug... Sadly

Put on your NVG Strap with NVG without a helmet. activate it. drop it. put the helmet on. put the straps on.
