Airfield loot is really poor ...

So i just went to loot the airfield with 2 friends and we really found nothing, and the server was nearly empty.
I fell like the loot before 1.0 was much more, or is it just me?
Where are you guys looting for M4 etc ... I tried to search the Heli Crash side but i only got it once and that was years ago.

Airfield loot isnt all that great but there is a alot of it if it hassnt been looted befor you getting there. Tisy has high quality loot and has things the NWAF wont even have id try checking up there for some better M4 and AK spawns. although i find them all the time at NWAF. also try using USG and a sniper its a good combo

The adjustment of loot in my opinion is to prolong the end game , By making certain loot more rare ( for the time being) it makes it more valuable.

Finding certain rifles is difficult atm but i guess its subject to change.

got my own server and loot in the standard game with out mods is just a whole lot of nothing use mods .

Yeah millitary bases especially the main airfield are poor on drop,unless you get lucky but 99% of the time you will find mp5's and usg's,the other 1% being SKS,I got lucky at Zeleno base and found an m4 tho,forget about Ak's since they added the sks they are even more scarce than M4's

Not true, I found an AK at my first visit in over a year to the airfield. Dare I say first try?

Well M4's and AK's (Western weapons mostly) are supposed to be rare. The fact that you got them with a McDonalds Happy Meal around 1.0 doesn't mean that it was supposed to be like that...

When more weapons will be released you will see more diversity in drops, instead of continues SKS spawns. Think about the loads of civilian weapons that are still missing, all the AK variants etc...

More weapons are going into the game just wait for the new questions, with a bunch of people who once in a long time tried so hard to keep web-pages up to date. I play on low population, and found every gun I wanted in less than a hour or 10 hours of game play knowing where it spawns, having some items on your attached to the weapons code line helps you find it, meaning a higher chance of spawn at the locations it may spawn, takes hours on normal server 1.02.

Th ak or known as KA-m spawns in the small military towers more often and m4 I got parts for my FAL/ LAR after I climbed into the tower the best guns spawn at high points more often at its current build.

Elevation has nothing to do with weapons spawns. The towers are just looted less, so CLE spawns better loot in them. Per design.
