DayZ Server LAN not showing

Upon creating a server it should automatically show up in LAN, until you port forward for it to show up in community. Wellll it’s not even showing up in LAN for me. Therefore it won’t show up in community.

To start it off, I’ve followed every video on YouTube and article by the Devs and on Steam that I could get my hands on and no matter what the server isn’t showing up in the LAN. Personally thinking it’s a network issue on my end, but have no idea how to fix it. The server itself actually launches and says everything is good, but when I go to search it in game it's not there.

Anyone else have this same issue that fixed it?

No worries, can you direct connect to it using parameters? (official dayz launcher has them or enter manually as params)
Put server as 172.0.0.1 port as what you have specified usually 2302. Ensure it connects this way before doing any more troubleshooting.

How do I edit the parameters? is this the same thing as SteamQueryPort? instead of 2302 put 127.0.0.1 ?

Start your server.

On your system navigate to ...

Steam\steamapps\common\DayZ\DayZLauncher.exe

..and start the launcher.

Click on "All Parameters"

Scroll down to "client" there you'll find the spot to put the address and port mentioned above.

That should connect you to your server, from what I understand.

As for it not showing in the LAN tab, I'm not sure if that has been solved yet, it only seems to be missing for some but not others.
