Question; Are the slugs from shotguns just meant to one-shot everything?

That are effective up to 60 meters. its one solid piece.. so if you miss (small area) to late. A shotgun has a wider spread so even better at close and has more chancev of hitting.

If a 1 ounce slug hits you at supersonic speeds it's pretty hard to survive that. Even soft body armor won't help because it would just push a shock cone deep into your chest.

Better off using buckshot, its a one hit KO anyway and easier to hit as its a spread. Just tap then again when they're on the floor.

Buckshot is lots of little pea sized pellets that spread out on ejection from the barrel of shotgun

Slugs have way higher damage than buckshot and more range, they also should do better against armor. Just watch out as its easier to miss with them

This is how it should be, but with the OP KO abilities of the buckshot it wins handsdown over slugs

Only if you shoot the vest Nica. And even then it's a crap shoot. Pop them In The head neck arm waist and or leg and it might unconscious or kill them outright. In my exp. Shot a guy in the hip with a break action while he was wearing a vest and down he went.

But it has very low effective range compared to a conventional bullet.
