Cholera is contracted by drinking from dirty water sources or drinking with bloody/dirty hands.
Symptoms: Vomiting when eating. Only your stomach is emptied, and there is no fluid loss or dehydration. The chances of vomiting is increased in the later stages of this disease.
Treatment: Eating in small quantities will lessen the chance of vomiting, and antibiotics will cure this condition

I heard a piece of lead ( preferably fast moving ) to the cranium is an instant remedy.

It does go away with time even without meds, but you need to lean into it. It is a constant battle between your immune system and the disease agents, so first of all make sure you don't get any more contaminated water in your system. Only drink directly from wells - with clean hands - or sterilise water by using chlorine tablets or boiling it. Then it is just a matter of staying healthy - eat and drink small amounts (to not provoke vomiting) often to stay hydrated and energised, don't get cold, don't get wounded, don't lose blood. Keep that up and the immune system will eventually reduce the disease to zero at which point the germy symbol goes away.

It takes a lot of time, even with meds if you were in a bad condition before finding the meds. The meds only help you fight the infection, they don't remove it instantly. Multivitamin pills boost your immune system to full strength while the pill is active, making your body fight the infection even if you're in a bad state otherwise. Antibiotics will fight the infection on its own, so for the best effect you can combine both. Taking more than one pill of each type at a time has no effect though. Wait for the pill symbol to disappear before taking another.
