I've gone from 3pp to 1pp and it doesn't seem to show the character moving, unless it's very slight.
And just to reiterate, the move happens between ads and hipfire, not between 1st to 3rd. Ofcourse when swapping between 1st and 3rd person wievs, the perspective changes, so the target isnt exactly the same... well doesnt seem like it, but it is
Sorry, meant ads to hipfire, I just use the MMB to switch. My bad.
Probably too accurate. Ironsights / sights are there for a reason. This isn't a jump and run shooter after all.
...They can still make it so the dot isn't exactly where it's aiming.
Making it so it's not exactly where it's aiming is separate from it not even being in the area it shows it will shoot.
Other games that are mainly 3pp have more accurate crosshairs.
Yes it's stuck to the gun, but the entire point of a 3pp crosshair is so you have a rough idea of where you're shooting, they might as well get rid of it if it isn't even showing the general area of where it'll shoot.
True dat, but many here will disagree with you.
I don't see many asking for that type of gameplay. All I wish for is a 3pp crosshair that at least *somewhat* shows where you're aiming, not way off to the left or right completely outside where it shows.
