Blood test kit doesn't tell me what type I am?
So I've found two blood test kits, I remember the old ones would show what type you were in the chat, but both times I've used it nothing happens. Is the test kit just broken for now?

You can always carry a blood bag just in case.
O- is even more unlucky and A- B- are on par with your luck.

How is O- more unlucky? You can donate to everyone with O-. Sure you can only receive O type, but being a universal donor is also very good.

It's quite unlucky if you can donate to everybody but only recieve from your own blood type....
Don't think of it as a game....what would be if you had that blood type irl?

If you're in a group for instance, you'd be top priority to not get killed as you would be able to do a transfusion on anyone which may save other group members. So it's a self solving issue in that regard.

A medic or someone wanting to fulfil that role should have some O- without needing a live donor, test kits work on blood bags also.

Learned something new....when i used a blood bag i wondered how i should know the blood type....it should be written down tbh....they label it too in hospitals.

A player could still store their blood in a bag without having first used a test kit, so that's not a feasible thing to do in Dayz. Now, if you used a test kit and THEN put your blood in a kit then yes, it should be written down or marked (if you have a pen).

Once you test the filled bag it is noted in the description of the blood bag but doesn't get noted when you draw blood from someone that has previously tested their own blood.
