HD Textures please

There is no mod available as far as I can see that replaces the textures in the game, but it's pretty weird how the weapon models are all in really high detail, while the ground, buildings and other textures are still the same ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ones from ARMA 2

2 years ago around the time of .62 known as the 'tree update'. I swear the devs mentioned a 'building update' that has never come to light yet. What that was supposed to include or if it will ever happen is yet to be known.

indeed they did update some textures. The game went from 5GB download to 15GB...

Impromptu, do me a favour and take a close look at some doors next time you play. Hell, take a close look at almost any building. The textures are really low res and is pretty lame for a game released in 2019 that is supposed to be a simulation.

seriously? Youre playing the game so you can take a close look at every single door, wall and blade of grass? Go play something else if it bothers you.

Come on, it's just a tradeoff, this game runs fine on potatoes. My laptop from... umm, 2012? runs DayZ more or less okay (okay maybe I did some minor upgrades but it's only RAM/SSD, not GPU). Besides, you must admit 17yrs old graphics still looks pretty decent and competitive compared to many 1pp games in this price range.

Go play arma 3 dayz then?
Arma 2 still looks awsome compared to some other games
As another user stated,if it bothers you so much,just make your own,people dont want it becouse 70% of the playerbase culd not be able to run it,also dayz is broken as it is,making it worse for 4k doors is,at least in my eyes,not worth it.
