Fps Dropped when I switched aim
Few minutes ago I was on the top of a hill, aiming toward the city with a mosin and a scope.

the fps dropped suddenly from 80-90 to 24-30 (for few moments) when I stopped aiming and the zoom turned back. Is there any settings that I have to lower, to prevent it from happening?

I tried to lower the general graphic to medium, but it keeps happening.

Gtx 1050ti 4gb
16gb Ram
i5 7300HQ 3.5Ghz

move your game from an hdd to an ssd
it will not help him in the long run though. i mean i even play in on an HDD
when you scope in and out, the game unloads and loads textures. Sometimes this is overly aggressive. So the game tries to load all of the textures back into memory from and HDD. You might realize how this can be a possible issue with an HDD compared to an SSD. other option is that their pagefile is on an HDD, and that's jsut a bad idea in all sense

Yes i do but after some time the game will get heavier. i already see lags happening with the upcoming new zeds so i just say that his rig is beyond helping and he should get an upgrade

thats decent gear already. there is nothing else you would need to play dayz perfectly fine i didnt say he needs to buy a 2080ti with an intel core 9 456323 and windows 2070, he just needs to upgrade it from the low tier to medium and his problem can be that he is using a laptop aswell. heat is always a problem with laptops so it will run slower so it doesnt melt. but i gotta say though why take 2 ssds but not go full out on the other stuff, im just saying.

Because the cpu is soldered and the socket is from 2012. I didnt upgrade my ram because it's a bit pricy. As far as i see, OP has a bit worse gpu, far better cpu, and far better ram than me.

Note, this is a lenovo t430s laptop with a francensteined gpu on it

I don't expect the market to be cheap, I only expect to fix this problem without paying 1500€

i run almost the same setup. and i run dayz on a SSD. i noticed the anti aliasing drags the frames down after i zoom back in from a scope. the same problem your having. i sacrificed some of that and also textures to medium. that has helped me a bunch. hope it helps you as well.

I have a NVIDIA Geforce GT 750M. I assume this is my bottle neck :) my other specs are pretty good. 16GB Ram, SSD, Intel Core i7-4712HQ @ 2.30GHz

I have like 30fps normally when running around which is playable, but i drop to 16-17 when looking through a scope. It also drops to that number when running around for a few seconds and then goes back to 30-ish.

oh ♥♥♥♥, maybe you are right, maybe removing antialiasing could solve the problem. I'll try today.

Also make sure you dont have AO enabled. That is a HEAVY hit on performance

Fixed, it was Object Details. Lowering it from high to medium fixed the problem. :D
I tried to put everything else on high and it works perfectly now.

you can try lowering antialising or processing instead of object

ever heard of turbo? Userbenchmark puts that cpu 8% better than mine in single core tasks
