am i crazy or do i keep hearing silenced pistol shots beside me

as the title says i am not sure if it is a bug or am i going crazy but i swear no matter where i am there is these silenced pistol shots right next to me and i don't recall ever having this happen before the latest update has anyone else heard this or am i just crazy.

I was experiencing ghost shots before the last update. sounded like a silenced pistol also. My playing buddy also heard them. It happened a couple of times. Also, the servers were very empty of players.

yea same on the server i was on running around for over an hour hearing them everywhere i go its really strange i keep looking to see if anyone is trying to kill me and is just a terrible shot lol.

i experience a similar sound but i realized it occurs every time a vehicle popped into render range. buying a vehicle always makes the sound and having a airdrop plane fly over head i always hear the 'snap' a split second before i hear the airplane.

i would believe that but i have not gotten a car yet and no plan was flying overhead and the sound followed me from town to town almost like an invisible player was messing with me but there was also no footsteps either so that rules that out.

no it sounds exactly like a silenced pistol being fired no vehicles near me i have even heard in the middle of the woods with no one or vehicle around. really starting to think i may be crazy lmao.

yea it does sound like a weird click at first i thought they were a lone silenced shot near by and would pucker up the ol but hole real good but eventually realized it was vehicles causing the sounds. it would seem like OP is having a different thing happening potentially.

There are some missmatched audio in this patch. Could be something entirely dofferent, but you hear it as a silenced pistol. Like seathing and unseathing knife sounds are missmatched aswell

New silenced pistols got added so i am guessing they got bugged. Multiple people seem to have this issue. :/

yea i knew they got added but didn't think they would be bugged i am just glad i am not alone with it.

Im sure there was a bug before that allowed everyone in the server to hear you reload a certain gun. Prob just the same again but with shooting the MK
