The Open Alpha of Survivor GameZ has ended, thank you so much for jumping in. We have collected a lot of useful data, and we are incredibly grateful for your help.

Right now, we don’t plan to turn Survivor GameZ into a standalone game or DLC for DayZ, but we plan to use the data from the Open Alpha for our future projects.

Later today (18:00 CET), the game mode will become unavailable, and the servers turned off. While it won’t be possible to play the mode, you might still see it in your Steam library.

See you in Chernarus.

Have you completely abandoned the idea of a royal battle? (although you probably had "hunger games"). To be honest, I bought DayZ for this mode

I am very sorry that the modification did not take root. We'll have to wait for someone to make a similar mod in the steam workshop ...
I played Survivor GameZ at night
Hope you implement the battle royale in dayz. You will succeed. I will follow the news of dayz, I always liked this game

To be completely honest i'm not suprised. BR is a saturated market, There are pleny of other ideas possible.

For instance Team deathmatch or more competitive game play?

Nah, it was all new stuff. Old events wasn't automated at all.
