it´s litterally a different playerbase.
just like nobody plays the ark br.
they are not for the core audience, they are there to boost sales.
but the people that could be interested rather play real, dedicated br games
Ease of use was probably the second.
After the DayZ fiasco, BI will have to release games under a sister company or something. No one in main stream gaming will ever take them seriously again.
I am still surprised companies like EA are still around after all the crap they feed their playerbase.....it seems latter will buy any game from them no matter what.
WtF how do you fail at this? It's BR how do you fail with professional programmers what's been done for years in basically the same engine? Constant disappointments with BI now the one thing I thought might keep me interested in DayZ
Personally, I'm not very interested at the moment, I enjoy dayz and that's what I want to play, when I have time. Though there's some incredibly annoying glitches, especially with base building and cars.
I'm not against it, I just have very little interest. There's other games with.
BR done better and I'd play those over this version were I looking for a BR experience
He is a community moderator. He has the powah.
@BRmode: Kinda sad that it was stomped. I didn't play it but mainly because of the alpha state and i'm not willing to stand the bugs.
Of course it would have been good for BI if Survivor Games took off, but if they were really interested in that they should have waited a while longer - until Enfusion is more developed. It would need more variety of maps in different terrains, and seeing as they already have Vigor on Xbox it feels more likely they'd simply port that to PS4 and PC before giving Survivor Games another go. Either that or hold off until Arma 4 is a thing.
The only other game that does BR better was Arma 3 and DayZ with BR was suppossed to be that but better, everything else is crap and fake and boring and uninteresting. I try some DayZ each patch and it's either same easy pointless gameplay or the server crashes within 20 minutes. With BR at least there's an objective, although the way the alpha was was kind of crummy should be over a wider area, random locations. But what are these people doing at this company are the getting out of the game making business or what sure seems that way...
