What you CAN do, is do your best to see them first. Sneak up on them, tie them up and give them a fun experience so they realise that interaction is more fun than KOS.
Then, someone could create a mod where you need to talk for 5 min before shooting someone.
Why?
kos is a BS thing... its as much BS as a fresh spawn running up to you an tries to punch you or stab at you and your geared up... i only kill if i am forced to... if i am able to ill break their leg an thn tie them up an patch their bleed, check their inv, then make a splint an tell them whats what an thier stupidity an untie them an leave splint a way so they crawl to it so i can scoot b4 they can patch an keep from chasing me... i'm mean obv i have a gun if its on my back, whether i have ammo is the chance.. an som just wanna shoot me thinkin i have ammo... but now i rather have a pistol an ammo for the people like that or those who come up with melee an say "hey dude" only to try an bash u if u stop an tun around.. so then if they raise a melee i raise my pistol an shoot
if they put something in where you kos, person gets to click kos b4 respawn an when that person kos someone they will be added like 20 min to respawn if they die.. so they kos less or dont at all..
like kil in defense or something... if you kos in like a good loot area or if they by your ride then sure... kos them.. protect your sht but.... u kos in a spawn area or coast line.. your basically kilin noobs... its like you bein a lvl 100 in gta killin a lvl 6.. a good game is when u encounter, speak an go seprate or team up.. survival.. then later maybe encounter a firefight...
i like this post cus this is my basic hate in the game..
my FISRT time playing on dec, 6 2017, i spawn in, found some decent clothes, food, water, and a steak knife.. no gun but tons of ammo.. i lived for like 3 hrs and 30 secs.. thn i saw a player an he had a gun, i went to see if i had ammo for him.. i lost him n decided to run back into town by train tracks an BOOM i was shot an i had my knife in hand.. my loot they could get was a black hoodie, black hat and forest camo cargos, knife food an some .22 .380 9mm an another ammo type but no guns.. after that i got a nice dress an a spear and a dallas mask from payday, and a fresh spawn comes up with a bat an one hits me an says unconciouse.... BUT he was the only one to not kill me but i got up with nothing an had some his cloths on ground........ .-.
This is what the game is about, cant handle it then stop playing.
LMAO i can handle it you troll, i was only mentioning stuff.. stfu an troll other discussions -.-
Rofl, im trolling now am I?
and i never report so its bs when a troll reports only so i tell admin or mod an they act on troll after so i'm not gonna eve try an war on you cus you'll just be a lil snitch ... snitches get stitches lol
The Wannabe Hero: Someone which can't take a subtle hint when you don't need help and nine times out of ten will get your killed, while they think you need their "Help"? A true hero shouldn't be holding the hands of fresh-spawns.
The Bandit: Ah, a true bandit is just a dying breed in DayZ nowadays and all we have left is Kos Coastal warriors, wannabe bandito's.
The Survivalist: Probably to trusting for their own good, yet they have a relatively broader perspective as to what the experience can offer and just trying to survive while having some interactions with fellow survivalists and yet ready to kill when and if certain circumstances emerge.
I'm more the Survivalist.
It was always meant to be a "Harsh survival experience with every minute a struggle against the environment. Technically it's an open world sandbox and there isn't a wrong or right way of playing DayZ which caters for so many playstyles. If the experience they wish is from PvP, PvE, a hermit living of the land, lonewolfing a hero or a bandit and even a cannibalistic psychopath wondering alone along the coast making friends or trying to hug wolves. Then the choice is theirs as to how they choose that very experience DayZ presents.
The dev's can only implement the tools so that those varying experiences are on offer and if the intention was originally a pure "survival PVP game" then the original map used would have been utes? (Let's not get confused with the concept depicted by those watered-down mods of the vanilla mod) and the coastal warriors with the pew, pew batle-royale mentality. Again there needs to be "consequences for one's actions" otherwise it is just another run & gun.
There simply isn't any balance yet!
I dont personally kill beachbunnies unless i am one my self. But why should the coast be this wierd protected area, where killing ppl is frowned opun?
If you keep getting killed on the coast, what would the next logical step be?
No one should be on the coast unless they a "noob" or looking for some mischief and that is when keeping your distance and communication plays a huge factor. I've no problem with killing a "beachbunnie" (lol) if i feel threatened.
It's like walking into a military installation looking to make friends. ;P
