Tanning wolf pelts?

I have all the things I need to tan this leather but it won't work. Am I doing something wrong or are they broken as of now?

Water in the barrel?

The barrel is halfway filled with water. It gives me the option to tan the pelts, but when I select it it says "I need to add pelts to tan."

Same happening here says I need to add pelts to tan no matter how many wolf pelts I add to the barrel. Full of water and lime so IDK? Bug?

Not "broken" just not yet been implemented... but it is referenced in the game files.

Having the really long streach armstrong arms when you picked the pelt up should have told you that the wolf pelts were glitched so to answer your question no you can not tan wolf pelts but 1 wolf steak is equal to 1 can of tactical bacon so it is good to hunt and cook wolf steaks for food.
