how can i see how many players are on the sever?
there aren't any numbers, just words "High" or "Low" etc. What does that mean and how can i see the actual amount of players on each sever?

try this https://www.dayzspy.com or once you've logged onto a server access steam ( shift and tab and view players )

You can, it's just not 100% reliable.

you can also join the server, and I believe the steam overlay should tell you
Using Shift + tab and viewing the players is 100% accurate and reliable. Just make sure you close the window out when you finish viewing it, so that when you select 'view players' again, it'll open up a new and refreshed list instead of reopened the old window.

No it isn't. It can bug out and freeze, so whenever you open it again it always shows the same list of players.

I disagree with you, i just tested this over two hours and players are leaving and joining every time i press Shift and Tab.

You can't disagree, it's a fact. It can happen to everyone, but it's rare. I've only had it happen three times in hundreds of hours. It's like the Steam bug that shows threads from months or even years ago when you hit the back arrow while going through threads in a forum. It's rare, but there is no denying the bug exists. The shift tab getting frozen can also only be fixed by restarting Steam and if that fails, your computer. Just in case anyone gets it.

I know mate. I've been using it for over half a decade. That's not what I'm talking about. There's a bug that freezes the player list and shows the same list even when you reopen it. If the bug occurs when the server is empty, it says there are no players even if people join. If it occurs when "joe" and "bob" are in the server, it will say those two are the only players in the server even if they leave, even if you switch servers.
