dayz or dayz experimental?

hi to all suvivors out there,hope someone can help me with this as it sounds dumb to me as im writing it but hear goes.i hear people talking about dayz standalone and im not sure if they mean dayz experimental or not so can someone please clear this up for me?i have always opted out of experimental mode until this game actually hits beta 0.63 or am i wrong and should i be playing the experimental mode?and also all the uk servers are always low pop why is this and does anyone have a list of good servers to join as i cant get enough of this game the now.my only problem is getting shot when i come across other suvivors as they dont seem friendly at all.in the last 2 month i have come across one suvivor who was willing to let me tag along and actually help one and other,i wish i could find more suvivors like this.happy hunting to you all and i hope to meet some friendlys soon.peace.

DayZ IS the stand alone. Experimental is the experimental branch of DayZ. As it stands, you own this game therefore you the standalone.

cheers for clearing that up for me thomas.do you have a list of good servers which are more populated?

experimental is where they drop new updates first to make sure there isn't more bugs popping up after internal testing, then after a few days if everything is still looking good they push the build to Stable branch. you'll encounter alot more bugs and such on EXP, but then you report them and they fix it, at some point. In that way you get to help sort the game out. but some times both are running the same version.
