Who where overhauling what? They switched over to a more up-to-date version of the unity game engine. lol (You make it sound like they developed the core-architecture)
Haha, sorry but that is the most stupidest thing ever? Who built the RV Arma III game engine (Without one you simply can't have the other) and modding support in the first place for those Hobbyist modders to create there mods and content? - Sigh
Might as well take credit for building a car from scratch (Ground up) when all you actually did was "replace" some car fenders.
Obviously the mod(s) benefit from the simple fact they function off of the released and development complete Arma III which operates on a fully developed and functional game-engine (RV4), while having a vast library of assets and content both official or community created over the years.
Obviously the "Standalone" is being developed as an independent title on a "new" game engine Enfusion? *Scratches Head*
Then quit whining like a child and go play those instead.
And before you throw out the cliched “oh you have no rebutted for my points” again, your points mean nothing to me. Your opinion means nothing to me. Anyone who has followed the development of DayZ already knows how wrong you are on these “points”.
Again, I think Rust is garbage, but feel no desire to go to the Rust forums and tell people I think it is garbage.
What owned by bohemia interactive? Arma franchise and DayZ.
You seem to be forgeting from your "Experience" in software development that a lot of people tend to forget this notion with just throwing money at a project doesn't necessary speed up the development process. There is a tendency to think that if we add extra developers to any effort we can shorten it by the amount of people we add. The thinking is if we add 20% more developers (more manpower) the time to implement the project should therefore decrease by 20%. The reality is that it doesn’t work this way.
There is always a critical path.
Even expanding (hiring/more resources) on the overall development team could slow down the timeline. Even if you’re the best developer in the world someone from the project still has to show you how to setup your environment, again that’s a critical path you just can’t skip.
Sorry but your are clueless.... It is really becoming embarrassing.
I just lololol at you obvious deflections.

People have responded to you. Maca has rebutted all of your points. You are just dense and not grasping the concepts. I wouldn’t argue with a brick wall, therefor I will not argue with you. You think the game sucks. That’s a subjective opinion. You need attention so you come here to engage in arguments with random internet people. It’s pathetic and I’m not interested in engaging with it anymore.
Even expanding (hiring/more resources) on the overall development team could slow down the timeline.
What you think programmers just hit the source-code and off they go (Hit the ground running). I'm not sure you've even experienced a working environment.
