SKS or CR527 Carbine?

Ammo and mag for both, which one would you keep?

Depends on the range you want to be effective at and how you play. SKS is a solid weapon and very capable with a PU scope but is in no way as effective at longer ranges than a CR527 with a hunting scope. Then again, the CR is bolt action. The SKS can shoot far quicker.

A crazy woodland survivor would likely take the CR. Anyone hunting military areas for an AK or m4 would be better off with the SKS.

I can't give any useful opinion on the CR. I've never actually had one with a magazine before. The SKS on the other hand, I have used. It's a fairly sturdy battle rifle with common enough ammo to be worth lugging around.

I really prefer internal loading weapons like the SKS and the Mosin and Winchester myself. less stuff to carry around.

I have an SKS at the moment, and it's a fine weapon. I'd drop it for a Mosin, but not for a CR.

They fire the same round, so I would go with the magless one with twice as much ammo. It's a no brainer. If you can't get it done with 3.5x zoom, you'll probably be just as bad with a hunting scope.

SKS... 7.62-39 becomes almost useless over 400m anyways, dmg is very low past that range and the bullets curve. Carbine is poor mans winchester and it shows. SkS has no need for mag, is semi and a bigger clip. theres no further discussions needed

scrap both and go for a winchester with a scope - I liked the Mosin when it could use the hunter scope, now its just a PU - and it's as rare as pixies

I did, then i've found an m4 with my friend, we both got m4s with mags... We were happy and then the server restarted, he kept everything... Unfortunely for me, i glitched and lost everything.
