UN Helmet VS Great Helm (Knights Helmet)

Which is better? Is it a true possibility that scine the Knight's helmet covers your entire face, you are better protected? Does the UN Helmet or the Ballistic Helmet not protect your face? Or does DayZ even have such accurate hit boxes?

PS: My great helm is ruined tho, so it probably will do me no good anyway.

The UN helmet is Kevlar

The Great Helm is thin steel.

In either case you get shot in the head within 200 meters, you should be dead.

I'm sure the great helm is good for protecting your head from melee hits, but I can't imagine it doing you any good up against a bullet. The ballistic helmets, like the UN helmet, is moreso meant for bullet protection. A pristine one can save your life up to a rifle caliber

Unconscious if you're lucky in either case, which is actually generous compared to real life. I have a M.I.C.H helmet with a .556 hole through it sitting in my closet and a 3/8" thick steel plate with a 7.62 hole in it stuffed into my plate carrier.

Steel armor is just a big, neon sign that says "Here I am shoot n loot me!".

I often wear nothing but a baklava.

I'll be sure to keep my eye out for a naked guy in nothing but a balaclava. Baklava is a Turkish dessert, just so you know the difference

And yes, that's all I wear, except for a Tassie on my peen for when I need to do the helicopter at lady zombies.
