The PU scope is the only optic that fits, why after the mosin has been sawed, that it doesn't fit is beyond me.

To answer OP... and you, and anyone...

A scope if for far distances ( everyone all together now... " NO ♥♥♥♥ " ) ....

When you saw off the mosin you loose all it's long distance accuracy you get from a long barrel..

So even if you had a scope... it would be pointless... I think that's the Developer's idea by just not letting you put one on after you cut it down.... that or, it just would be too "OP" and we can't have that now can we?....

( Note: any Developers present can either confirm nor deny this... please. )

ohhh so the pu scope is a modern day 40x zoom and not a old 3.5x zoom i see how dumb of me man i must be retarded. at least with a pu scope you dont just have to kinda point it at the middle of your screen and hope for the best

Because the sawed off is a different gun in the data base and they haven't made the scope fit it yet?

How about to just look through it? A scope is useless in the game without a rifle, and if you don't have binoculars why not just allow it to be done in the game? An oversight that should be fixed. Just to comment in general on the whole subject - a sawed-off Mosin is a joke in the first place...

The only reason you'd ever wanna see this abomination ingame is if the project actually ends up as tuff and unforgiving as announced :

You spawn, find nothing, and if you even find anything - you walk into this farmhouse where this moron once lived... He/She chose to pick up the late Grandpa's hunting rifle (or worse, WW2 leftover, rusty and stuff, in need of a weapon cleaning kit, yes?!) and the poor child chose to cut the barrel in half, thinking this would make it easier to hide [facepalm].
