VSS Vintorez

Hey there...

I have been playing this game since the mod days of dayZ.
And since the new update I cant seem to find the VSS, I find the ammo and mags for it but never teh weapon itself.

plas replay if you have the same problem or not?
and if you have or had one in this version of the game (0.61) PLS tell me where you found it :P

LOL! Back in the DayZ mod the VSS was and always will be my favorite weapon everything in the range of 300-350 (roughly) is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dead and cant even tell where the shots are coming from! The VSS is OP thats why it is the rarest gun to find & the ammo & mags are very rare aswell

Definitely not like that now. Serious bullet drop at even 200m. And the speed is so slow, it's hard to hit someone running at anything above 75m. But, it's a great CQC weapon - the damage seems very high. I carried one around Tisy for a day and thought it was great there.

Oh yeah? Well thats sad really, but I will still love it, you won't be able to tell where the shot was coming from except if you see the smoke of the shot. And everything up to 75-100 roughly will fall with 1 shot^^

Yes after I posted this I checked all watchtowers in tisy, and guess what?
I found the VSS i have 60 rounds at my base and 1 mag^^ (collecting VSS stuff since 1999) haha

As cool as it is, I wouldn't bother with it personally. The limited magazine capacity restricts it's short range capability, the slow bullet speed restricts it's long range capability, and for the "sweet spot" where it is effective, a suppressed AK can do the same job. It's almost as if it's set up to fail.

I saw one today but left it as I was double carrying M4. I have found so little ammo that its just not viable for me.

well I was lucky and raided a base that hhad like 60 rounds and 3 mags^^ so I guess I'm lucky.... Try helicopter hunting (Russian)
