find a lot of svd mags at mili tents ie tizy,nwaf the mili checkpionts,dont find many fal mags tbh have found 2 fals never the mags lol

i found 2 fal mags at russian heli crashes and 1 at the sniper towers at tisy its a very very rare spawn so my biggest bet will be rusian heli crashes

Ive found many mags for both in mili tents. Never even seen the actual guns...

FAL magazines will spawn most commonly at NATO crash sites (The UH-1Y or 'smoking' crash sites). The FAL, however can spawn at any military loot spawn in the game. I have found two since 0.61. One was in a shipping container at the NWAF tent city. The other was at the Kamensk military compound. I was honestly quite disappointed when I got my FAL set up. It sounds kind of wimpy, and you're firing solid gold bricks, whereas the SVD boasts much more common ammunition, and is probably just as powerful. I'd honestly recommend saving your time. Magazines are extremely rare for the FAL. I've only found one, and I traded for the other. That being mentioned, I recommend you trade for it on the DayZ Trader Base server. I traded a Winchester Model 70 for a full FAL magazine. I'll put a link to the DTB steam group in this post. It'll give you information as to when the server is scheduled to come up, as well as how to go about trading.
