Winchester (.308) ammo spawns?

any good cities or areas to search for winchester ammo? i know it can spawn basically anywhere but want a good area to server hop and try find some ammo.

You can find it pretty much anywhere on the west side of the map.

There is no set place.

check the cars lines by military checkpionts mate always find then and the winny there

There are no Favorite places to find the .308.
It is totally random, in cars, on tables in houses, in MIL camps, hunting towers etc etc.
I think it is easier to mention were you can not find it actually, but I think you get where I am going.

It is all about perseverance, not give up or see it as an easy find in "somewhere" special place to find it.

Players telling you go look there, or in that place "I know about", is in fact totally random, and also most likely in the mercy of the bugs we are still having with a Central Loot Economy (CLE) still not working 100 percent yet.
So, those they say they find this item in those special places are in fact just lucky that the CLE is spawning them there at that time, in bundles or in a row with time seperating the player from being at that location.

So, as said, perseverance is the key, I have now over 200 round on 3 characters, that is because of time available only, and not because of any "golden" location that can spawn them on and on again.

What? I did i have had my character for more then a week so i have got more then 7 stacks of it. I looted nwaf, vmc, tisy, evac site multiple times looking for ppl and loot.
