Best camouflage clothes in DayZ?
You also think that camo is a factor that can actually save your life into pvp?

Camoflage is really not a priority. You have the blob black effect at range, and up close it is the movement that gives you away, the jack in the box head, or just moving, we lock onto movement more than color contrast. You can wear a circus clown outfit in the bush, as long as you are not moving odds are the other guy will not see you.
This...

Learned that in Benning in '87 and still true to this day.

oh the days of Benning in 79, miss them!

What you know about "clothes that give you more protection"?
i would say

-press vest or high capacity vest
-fireman clothes (they have low space + aren't good for camo but they weight a lot)
-military boots
-Gorka helmet (does attached visor give you extra protection?)

with this gear i feel myself pretty tanky, and i frequently experienced i actually was so
The high capcity vest has the 2nd worst protection from bullets in the game. so swap it for an assault vest, if you dont have a press one. Also the gorka helmet is designed to protect from melee attacks not bullets. So go with the ballistic helmet.

I don't obsess over clothing too much. Or any gear fot that matter. I go for anything green with the maximum amount of inventory slots. This tends to be the military stuff I find at checkpoints by the road or in towns, but I don't go out of my way to "gear up" at the military bases.

Like other said patience and a cool head will save you in PVP, not camouflage. Everyone is paranoid in this game, as they should be. No matter what you wear, the moment you move you get shot at.

One particularly stupid player (probably a server hopper) lost his full kit to me and my pointy stick because he rushed blindly after my fresh spawn.
One particularly smart player almost killed me because he mimicked the slow zombie movement.

I have spent 100s of hours sniping alone in DayZ. SrSgt Ivan Patapov is exactly right. Cover up. Be still. Avoid red and orange. Be still.

I use Summer and Autum Hunting jacket and pants, Uk assault vest DPM camo, Camo face mask, Gorka helmet, or DPM bonie cap, the new green/camo assault bag, And military boots of some colour. thats very specific, and hard to find, but it looks Bad. A$$. And i dont advise the smersh vest, thats hard to find and doesent do much to save you from a shot to the chest. if your going for protection, and dont mind rarerty... plate carrier... hands down. it exists to stop gunfire from messing up your day. with the attachments its becomes the soldiers best freind.
