Best camouflage clothes in DayZ?
You also think that camo is a factor that can actually save your life into pvp?

(Ghillie excluded)

Camoflage is really not a priority. You have the blob black effect at range, and up close it is the movement that gives you away, the jack in the box head, or just moving, we lock onto movement more than color contrast. You can wear a circus clown outfit in the bush, as long as you are not moving odds are the other guy will not see you.

This...

Learned that in Benning in '87 and still true to this day.

USMC Woodland is my favorite because inventory space, but i think TTsKO is best for actual color contrast

Yeah i'm with contestant number 1....if you move in this game no matter what you have on at almost whatever distance you will be seen.

The black blob effect can be negated by covering as much skin as possible as its only the skin turning black at high render distance. Honestly? Best camo right now is just to cover yourself up. People are too reliant on the blob glitch to see people so a balaclava, gloves and sun glasses plus a long sleeved shirt up on a hill and you're essentially invisible.

I just get anything green like last time I had a green raincoat, ttsko pants, green mil boots, green helmet with small backpack (Tortilla is my #1 fave), green weapon ghillie and black face mask.
So far, anything black-green goes.
If you go into urban areas, pick lighter colors like white or gray hoodie + black cargo pants with any backpack apart from the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Alice. Keep your head smaller with a cap and you're set.
Remember: small silouette = smaller target to see and hit.

In my opinion TTsKO is best. Gorka doesn't really do much since only some parts of it are actually camouflaged.

nice camo but, for what i've learned, t-shirt and smersh vest don't give you much protection against any bullet..
Awesome looking tho!

What you know about "clothes that give you more protection"?
i would say

-press vest or high capacity vest
-fireman clothes (they have low space + aren't good for camo but they weight a lot)
-military boots
-Gorka helmet (does attached visor give you extra protection?)

with this gear i feel myself pretty tanky, and i frequently experienced i actually was so

I agree with you. With or without camo doesn't matter at long and mid range. I can se only a black blob.

Btw, has someone else noticed this same effect in the fog while been on the coast?

At distance, I can see the fog, and a small black and glow blob moving far away from my position. It is very easy to spot players on the coast.

Usually black clothes have the best camoflauge since all other clothes are bright against the darker background. But yes if you stand still more than likely most people wont see you, darker clothes will help. A Ghillie is by far the best

I like the spring hunter top and bottom

I like the Gorka outfits, because of the rain protection, and you don't overheat as easy.
