I legitmately just killed a guy in the back (Torso) with improvised bow and arrows. 1 shot 1 kill.

there is no improvised crossbow, either bow. or cross bow crossbow uses bolts

The improvised bow is the most underrated weapon in the game. Easy to make. Near limitless ammo. Kills silently. One-shot kill to zombies and survivors. Obviously not a weapon to use in a firefight, but if you are picking your way through a town of zeds or coming up on an unsuspecting survivor you need to dispatch, the improvised bow is invaluable. Fits on your back or in the bottom of an Alice backpack with plenty of room to spare for the arrows.

Exactly what I was doing, on my way to Tisy, always with the bow. Pretty much infite ammo, and like you said, silent, and one-shot zeds, about players I don't know, didn't had the pleasure to murder someone with the bow.
