Mosin or B95?
If you had to carry one or the other, which would you choose?

Also, are the ammo types equally hard to find?

Mosin because it can hold more rounds. A 2 shot reload isn't the best to bring to battle unless you're at long range. And the mosin can have a scope on it, B95 can't.

B95 takes a hunting scope and the two shots are without reloading, so personally I prefer it to a mosin any day

Good input guys, thanks for contributing. I read somewhere people consider the B95 a 'mid-range' gun that can be decent indoors/cqc and did not realize it has a scope.

How is the B95 at long range compared to Mosin? They both shoot as far accurately?

If you use iron sights i would say B95 because the sight has an orange tip making it easier to aim at your target when its dark forexample.

Mosin gets ruined quick. Keep a weapon cleaning kit on you if you use the mosin. I think 7.62x54 is easier to find than the .308 Winchester ammo.

it really depends. at range i will take the b95 with a scope all day long, but for more closer encounters or entering military compunds or cities i prefer a mosin. i miss the old days with the mosin and a scope.

PSO doesn't go on the mosin bud ;)

LOL, i knew it was either that or the PU scope, but thx for clarifying it.
They are fairly different guns. The Mosin takes 7.62x54, which spawns primarily in civilian spawn locations. The Mosin can take one sight, the PU scope (Similar to the ACOG). The gun and scope are both considered medium range due to the lack of far range optics, but are extremely accurate. It holds 5 rounds internally (Requires no clip/magazine for multiple rounds) and is a bolt action rifle. The gun requires you to press "R" after each shot to chamber a second round. In the past the mosin was considered THE long range rifle, but has since received a change that no longer gives the gun the option to mount the long range scope on it (The scope was removed and replaced with the hunting scope. The Hunting scope has less zoom, and can attach to a different variety of guns not including the Mosin due to the way the Mosin is loaded).

The B95 or "Blaze" is an over under rifle. It shoots the .308 round. This round is fairly common spawn, but is often picked up by most people if spotted. The ammo can spawn in military or civilian locations, and is considered the strongest round in game. The B95 has only two shots, but can fire both bullets in quick succession or at the same time. There is no need to rechamber the second bullet not does the gun require a clip/magazine. Pressing "T" gives the user the option to fire both rounds at the same time, effectively doubling up the lethality of the shot if it lands. The B95 is considered a long range weapon that takes one scope, the hunting scope (Most zoom in game currently.)

Both guns are 1-2 shot kills and extremely deadly. In close quarters neither are amazing. The B95 has the edge in CQB due to being able to fire two shots with out rechambering.

If you did not have a PU(Mosin) or a Hunting Scope(B95), the B95 has an easier to use iron sight. Personally I like the feel of the Mosin, but the lack of optics for the Mosin make it inferior to the B95 at range.

If you are looking for a Sniper, compare the B95 with the Winchester.

Would be more than willing to answer any further questions.
