Well I have an associate's in Bio. and I 'm pretty sure we didn't cover this in class XD

If you plant seeds outside of a Farm plot, it should make flowers. That would make a little more sense. Though could be slightly unbalanced.

No, the shovel should be made compatible with flowers in my opinion so you can make a flower farm :)

I guess that could work too, though that would mean flowers are non-renewable.
